Onam is coming. Ready aano? I'm not malayalee girl. But I love the culture and their dressing . Every onam I go to Kerala and celebrate onam with my friends. But this onam I can't go there as you all know the current situation. Here I'm going to tell you what exactly they do for makeup to look fresh and beautiful. As you can see, most of the malayalees don't like heavy makeup. Because they're blessed with super glow skin and lustrous long hair. That's because of the weather and the food obviously. Also no makeup makeup look is their go to style for everyday. Here I'm gonna tell you about how they get ready for their special occasion Onam.
1.SAREE

Okay first of all you need that Kerala saree. The so called Kerala kasavu is hand woven and too light weight on body. The golden border just reflects on face to get extra glow. This is the attire which has been loved by all the girls. Also the Kerala mundu another famous attire. You can wear it with a matching blouse. And now it's trend to wear the contrast blouse. You can go for anything that suits you well. So saree is over !
2.FACE MAKEUP

Next let's move on to the makeup look. For makeup you don't need too heavy makeup on face. Just prepare your skin before makeup. Wait for 5 minutes. So the makeup may last a little long. Now apply a little amount of primer. Primer is a barrier to your skin and makeup. And it helps to stay the makeup little more time. Then apply the foundation which suits for your skin shade. Blend it well through sponge/brush. Apply some good amount of concealer under eyes and pigmented place. Because eye makes an important role when it comes to kerala makeup. So the face makeup is all set.
3.EYE MAKEUP

The next is eye makeup. They usually use home made eye-gel for their eyes. But we don't have that much patience to make those. Right? Ugh, but it's good, isn't it? So buy any thick kohl pencil/ kajal. And draw a thicker line in waterline in lower lid. Draw the same in upper lid. If you want smokey eyes, smudge with brush in upper lid followed by the lower lid too. Curl your eye lashes using a eye lash curler. Trim your eyebrows a day before. And fill your brows using the pencil. It shouldn't be neither too dark nor to light. Perfect amount is always the key. Eye makeup is done !!!
4.LIP MAKEUP

For lip makeup, you just need to moisturize your lips. Apply a lip balm initially. And then choose a simple lipstick. No need to apply it dark. Just a coat is enough. If it is light color, you'll get the spot light. That's it. But always note one thing, if you have pigmented lips make sure you apply foundation on lips before applying lipstick. That's a game changer tip. So that's it. You done your makeup. Now what? The hair right?
5. HAIRSTYLE & BINDI

For hairstyle, you just put up your hair in any loose hairstyles. Or bun or it can be a braid . Whatever the hairstyle, decorate it with some jasmine flowers. That's all for hair.
Last but not the least, wear a bindi/pottu. You should wear a bindi to complete your look baby girl. Wear designer bindi or color bindi or black color bindi. All over.e Omg! Just look at your face. Wow ! You look amazing now. Wear a chocker to finish it up. Chocker may be gold or silver. But wearing a chocker will enhance your beauty extra more. Perfect now !!
